Before joining Sustainable Harvest®, Liam served as senior vice president for the impact investing pioneer Root Capital, helping unlock more than $1 billion in finance for millions of smallholder farmers throughout Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Prior to Root Capital, Liam was director of sustainable coffee for Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (now Keurig Dr. Pepper) and was a program director at the humanitarian organization Oxfam, where he helped grow the consumer market for sustainable coffees while investing side-by-side in smallholder quality and capacity building.
Liam holds an undergraduate degree in agricultural and extension education from Cornell and an advanced degree in social policy from Harvard. He is a proud alumnus, and former national vice president, of the FFA (Future Farmers of America), and the lucky dad of four wonderful kids.
