This year AFCA has several training courses planned at the Specialty Coffee Expo in Zanzibar. All the trainings are geared towards driving domestic consumption across the continent.

The trainings will focus on three areas;

  • Barista
  • Roasting
  • Alternative Brewing Methods

The trainings are based on the standards and regulations of the World Barista Championships (WBC), the operating body under World Coffee Events (WCE); Coffee Roasters’ Guild, operating body under the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) and based on the standards and regulations of the World Brewers Cup, operating body under World Coffee Events (WCE).
