AfriCert has the capacity to deliver turnkey certification solutions through a combined audit process for different standards in effect saving the client some cost through reduced audit time savings.
Our success has enabled us expand our services to more than 14 African countries. In addition to Kenya, we serve Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, South Africa, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Nigeria and Ivory Coast. For its West Africa services, AfriCert established an office in Accra, Ghana in 2010.
AfriCert offers certification services beyond auditing against compliance requirements in a checklist. We add value to the businesses that we work with, because we believe it’s only through this approach that compliance with voluntary standards can become a tool for promoting sustainable farming in Africa.
It is noteworthy that our Operations Manager is currently a member of the Sustainable Agriculture’s standard Committee, giving AfriCert leverage in standard development as well as a platform for articulating the producers’ perspective.
