WARENEW coffee, which is part of the Mt Kenya organic Coffee farmers is a group of over 10 renowned coffee farmers and our coffee pulping station is located on WALINEW organic coffee estate on the slopes of Mount Kenya in Embu. The pulping station has produced 100 bags of 50 kgs organic green coffee and has a capacity of 100,000kgs of cherry harvest this December harvest season. Our coffee ratio at the millers is 4:1 and our grade is between 88% to 90%. Our organic coffee farming entails using SL28 and SL 34, original Kenyan coffee.

Mt Kenya organic coffee farmers CBO was founded in 2012 by Mr. Kariuki through Mt. Kenya Farm Management Department (FM) a community-based organization. For over 23 years, under the mentorship of Mr. Kariuki the main goal of this group has been to transform coffee farming into an effective agribusiness practice through a research-based coffee-growing best practice model, Mt Kenya Organic Coffee Farmers CBO aims at creating economic entrepreneurship activities that will increase food security and boost the manufacturing industry as well as increase employability prospects for youth.

Warenew coffee farmers have embraced organic coffee farming, which is the latest technology in coffee farming and they have seen a great improvement in the quality of the coffee produced, since engaging in these farming methods.
