Founded in 1992, Kyagalanyi Coffee Ltd, a subsidiary of Volcafe, is one of the leading coffee processors and exporters in Uganda and the country’s oldest licensed coffee exporter.

Since its creation, Kyagalanyi has worked towards celebrating and promoting Ugandan coffee worldwide, sourcing and exporting some of the finest conventional and certified Robusta and Arabica (washed and natural) coffee from all the country’s major growing regions.

Through the implementation of sustainability initiatives, Kyagalanyi works directly with farming communities in the Mt Elgon, Greater Rwenzori, and Greater Masaka regions, providing technical assistance to coffee farmers to address farm productivity and quality, climate change impact, and social challenges and risks.
