Visa Information
All international travelers participating in the AFCC&E 2024 are required to obtain a Conference Visa before arriving in Ethiopia. The only exceptions are for citizens of Djibouti, Kenya, and Diplomatic passport holders. Also, note that your passport must have at least six months’ validity from your expected arrival date.
The Ethiopian government offers an e-Visa for conference attendance purposes. Delegates are strongly encouraged to apply for their conference visa online rather than in person at an embassy. The online process takes 5-7 business days, and once the e-Visa is approved, it will be sent via email.
The cost of a conference visa is approximately $US52.00 and is valid for 30 days upon arrival. We recommend that you submit your online application by January 5, 2024, at the latest.
