2:00-5:00 PM - Risk Management: Understanding Futures & Options

This beginner to intermediate level workshop will cover key concepts for trading and hedging using futures and options including strategies, understanding basis risk, and the influence of certified stock on market spreads. As a bonus choose between the slide deck for beginners or intermediate level tutorial (to take home!) for added reinforcement and a deeper dive into the topics covered. 3:00-5:00 PM - New Frontiers in Post-Harvest Processing with CQI

Join this workshop, led by CQI, to learn about and taste some of the newest trends in post-harvest processing. The first half of the workshop will be a seminar, where trends and the science behind them will be described. In the second half, we will follow with a tasting of some of the experimental processes being trialed around the world. We will discuss the pros and cons of these methods and the practicalities in the field.
