Spedag Interfreight is one of the leading freight logistics companies in East Africa with operating companies in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and DRC with our head office in Basel, Switzerland.
The regional network allows us to handle transport services and customs clearance services for our global customer base on door to door services. We are involved in project management & logistics, oil & gas logistics, warehousing & distribution, container handling/container depot, sea freight services, air freight services, customs clearance services. The vast customer base in East Africa, both importers and exporters, can count on very reliable and 
competitive service concepts, supported by the fantastic infrastructure set up at strategic locations in the region and a well trained staff force of over 800 in the region.
Our biggest achievement is the continuity of reliable service concepts over 50 years, which has helped us to grow a huge customer base in Uganda.
We have always been depending on our own container ICD in Kampala with in-house customs facility, state of the art handling equipment, warehouses and are one of the few able to offer rail link directly into our terminal. This allows us to operate services tailored to the needs of the customer by both road and rail. As the cargo volumes are growing rapidly, we are presently in the phase of construction of the new ICD facility in Namanve.
